The geometrical design of the "Sacred Cut"

The inner square relates to the external square
according to the the Classical proportion of the "Sacred Cut"  1:√2

The length of a quarter circle (AB) is: (√2π)/4 and the circumference of the entire circle is: √2π ≈ 4,442 882
The length of the diagonal of half the square (
CD) is: √5/2 and the circumference of the new square is 2√5 ≈ 4,472 135
Deviation between both circumferences is 0,66%

The number of geometrical constructions within this pattern are infinite and all relate to each other as 1:√2.
Within this diagram you will find the "doubled square" (
ABCD becomes AEFG thanks to diagonal AC).
The same √2 proportion is also found in the four small rectangles
