For readers that just cant get enough of
the Fibonacci numbers, a final speculation will be provided that involves
the hypothetic resurrection hour of Jesus. Please notice that these
hypothesis are completely based on presumptions and should as such only be
read for entertainment purposes.
The timeline on the right shows the hours
mentioned in the gospels before and after Jesus death and appearance.
Besides the regular hours, also the presumed time of the resurrection of
Jesus has been introduced. Please remember that the gospels provide no
indication about this hour. Nevertheless it is logical to apply the by now
familiar resurrection number symbolism in order to find a suitable hour.
The only logical possibility in this case is that Jesus rose from the
grave just before the eights nightly hour of the first day.
The sixth nightly hour of this day was the
last hour before midnight and the seventh hour the first hour after
midnight. Considering that the current western 24 hour clock starts at
midnight, any resurrection after the sixth hour would be safe enough to
not undermine the current liturgical tradition. After all the church
claims that Jesus rose from the dead on Sunday and not on Saturday.
However, the seventh hour of the first day was still part of the symbolic
Sabbatical number seven that characterized Jesus death and rest in the
grave. As such he may have opened his eyes on the seventh hour but he
surely didn't move from his grave before the eighth hour. It was not like
Jesus to spoil at the last moment, something so important as the symbolism
that was involved in his own death for mankind.
The timeline on the right shows that even
more Fibonacci numbers appear once the hypothetical hour of Jesus
resurrection is added.
